Person To Induct The Beautiful People Into TNA Hall Of Fame Announced

ECW Icon and TNA veteran Tommy Dreamer has been announced as the person who will induct The Beautiful People (Angelina Love and Velvet Sky) into the TNA Hall of Fame. In an interview with Gabby LaSpisa, who will be hosting the ceremony, Dreamer revealed that he was asked to do the honors and considered it a “big honor.”

The ceremony is scheduled to take place this weekend as part of the festivities for TNA’s biggest pay-per-view of the year, Bound for Glory, which will be held in Lowell, Massachusetts. This year’s Hall of Fame class will also include the induction of multi-time Knockouts World Champion, Mickie James, who will be inducted by her long-time rival, Tara (formerly Victoria in WWE).

“They asked me. It was a big honor, so there you go,” Dreamer said. The choice of Dreamer as the inductor is a fitting one, as he has been a respected veteran and backstage presence in TNA for many years, and he has a long history with both Angelina Love and Velvet Sky. The Beautiful People are being recognized for their groundbreaking and influential run as one of the most popular and successful acts in the history of the TNA Knockouts division.

The Beautiful People, whose core members were Angelina Love and Velvet Sky, were a major force in TNA throughout the 2010s. Their “mean girl” personas, inspired by the movie Mean Girls, made them one of the most entertaining and despised heel acts in the company. The group, which also included Madison Rayne and Lacey Von Erich at various points, was not just an entertaining act, but also a successful one. Love and Sky are two-time former TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions, and Angelina Love is a four-time former TNA Knockouts World Champion, making her one of the most decorated women in the company’s history.

The TNA Hall of Fame was established in 2012, with “The Icon” Sting as its inaugural inductee. Since then, it has honored some of the biggest and most influential names in the company’s history, including Kurt Angle, Team 3D, Jeff Jarrett, Gail Kim, and Raven. The inductions of Mickie James and The Beautiful People in the Class of 2025 will further solidify the legacy of the Knockouts division as one of the cornerstones of TNA Wrestling.
