Scarlett Reveals WWE Benched Her For Three Months: “They Had Basically Taken Me Off TV For Three Months”

During their tell-all interview on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Karrion Kross and Scarlett described their creative frustrations in the final months of their WWE tenure, which included Scarlett being inexplicably removed from television for three months and even being accused of “sneaking” into a segment.

The period Kross and Scarlett are referring to took place in early 2025. After their faction, The Final Testament, was abruptly disbanded following the Royal Rumble, Scarlett was removed from television while Kross was used only in sporadic, non-speaking background roles, foreshadowing their eventual departure from the company in September 2025.

“They had basically taken me off TV for three months,” Scarlett said. “Every single time he had a backstage, because I know some people noticed why isn’t Scarlett in this? Every single week Kross would ask, ‘Why isn’t Scarlett written into this? She can just be there.’ They said, ‘Oh no, not this week, not this week.'”

She then shared a story where AJ Styles had to personally intervene to get her included in a backstage segment, only for a producer to question her presence. “AJ went to the office, got approved that I could be in it. Later on, we shoot that. And one of the producers comes up to me and says, ‘How did you sneak yourself in there?’” Scarlett recalled. “I’m like, so this has been something that’s been talked about to remove me.”

Kross corroborated the story, explaining the growing sense of unease as the weeks went on. “Anytime I would ever bring up if she could be in the shot, they would be like, ‘Yeah, we just want to focus on you.’ And you think that week, it’s okay… but then it happens a second week in a row, third week in a row, fourth week in a row, and now we’re looking around going, what’s going on here?” he said.
