“The CEO” Mercedes Mone has reached another major milestone in her already historic career, as she has now officially held the AEW TBS Championship for 500 days. Mone won the title from Willow Nightingale at the AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view on May 26, 2024, and has since been on a dominant reign that has seen her defend the championship against all comers.
With this latest milestone, she is now just days away from breaking the record for the longest-reigning TBS Champion in AEW history, a record currently held by the inaugural champion, Jade Cargill, at 508 days. Mone’s reign as TBS Champion has been a masterclass in championship excellence. She has made an incredible 22 successful title defenses against a who’s who of the best female wrestlers in the world, including former AEW Women’s World Champions Kris Statlander, Hikaru Shida, and Britt Baker, as well as top international stars like Momo Watanabe and Riho.
Her reign has not only elevated the prestige of the TBS Championship but has also seen her collect a staggering amount of other championships from promotions around the world, which she often carries with her to the ring. In addition to the AEW TBS Championship, Mercedes Mone currently holds nine physical championship titles. This incredible collection includes the CMLL World Women’s Championship, the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship (which she merged with the Queen of Southside Championship), the Discovery Wrestling Scottish Women’s Championship, and several other titles from promotions across Europe.
She also won the 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament, further cementing her status as one of the most decorated and dominant champions in all of professional wrestling today. On the most recent “Title Tuesday” edition of AEW Dynamite, she issued an open challenge for her championship, a challenge that was answered by former WWE star Lacey Lane.
