Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has shared his official appearance schedule for October 2025, giving fans a clear picture of where they can see “The American Nightmare” in the coming weeks. In a post on X, Rhodes, a practice he has maintained for months, listed five dates, all of which are for televised events.
His schedule is notably lighter than in the past, reflecting TKO’s recent decision to cut back on untelevised live events. This change has resulted in many top superstars working a more relaxed schedule compared to previous years. Rhodes’ October schedule is as follows:
- October 10, 2025 – WWE SmackDown, Perth, Australia
- October 11, 2025 – WWE Crown Jewel, Perth, Australia
- October 17, 2025 – WWE SmackDown, San Jose, California, USA
- October 24, 2025 – WWE SmackDown, Tempe, Arizona, USA
- October 31, 2025 – WWE SmackDown, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA
The centerpiece of Rhodes’ month is the WWE Crown Jewel premium live event on October 11 in Perth, Australia. At that show, he is scheduled to face his long-time rival, the reigning World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, in a champion vs. champion match to determine the 2025 Men’s Crown Jewel Champion. Rhodes won the inaugural version of this ceremonial title in 2024 by defeating GUNTHER, and he will look to make it two in a row when he steps into the ring with “The Visionary.”
The match is the latest chapter in their rivalry, which has included a series of classic bout, most notably a brutal Hell in a Cell match in 2022 that saw Rhodes compete with a torn pectoral muscle. Since his return to WWE at WrestleMania 38, Cody Rhodes has been positioned as one of the top stars and leaders in the company. He is currently in his second reign as Undisputed WWE Champion, having won the title back from John Cena at this year’s SummerSlam.
Following his clash with Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel, the next major event on the horizon for Rhodes and the rest of the WWE roster is the Survivor Series premium live event on November 29 in San Diego, California.
