Since her arrival in NXT in June, the former AEW Women’s World Champion has been positioned as a major star, and a victory over an opponent like Zaria would be a crucial step in her journey to the top of the brand.
Zaria has been primarily focused on the tag team division in recent months, where she has formed a successful partnership with the NXT Women’s North American Champion, Sol Ruca. This singles match against a high-profile opponent like Blake Monroe is a major opportunity for Zaria to showcase her individual skills.
