Former Champion Is Returning To WWE To Work At The Performance Center

While a portion of the WWE NXT roster is on a live event tour through the Midwest, the talent remaining at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, will be learning from two respected veterans. According to a new report from PWInsider, current TNA producer Ace Steel and former two-time WWE Women’s Champion Jazz will be at the Performance Center this week serving as guest coaches.

The presence of Ace Steel as a guest coach is noteworthy given the current, unprecedented partnership between WWE and TNA. Steel, a long-time veteran of the wrestling industry, has worked as a coach and producer for a number of major promotions, including WWE, where he was a trainer in their developmental system, and AEW.

Jazz is no stranger to the Performance Center, as she has served as a guest coach on several occasions throughout 2025. The former WWE Women’s Champion is a powerhouse and a trailblazer from the Attitude Era. Her hard-hitting, no-nonsense style makes her an ideal mentor for the next generation of female superstars.

The use of veteran guest coaches is a key part of the developmental process at the WWE Performance Center. It allows the young talent to learn from a variety of different perspectives and to absorb knowledge from wrestlers who have competed in different styles and eras. The NXT roster is currently on a three-day tour of Columbus, Ohio, Detroit, Michigan, and Cleveland, Ohio. Another former WWE star is also guest coaching at the PC. For more on that, click here.
