Cody Rhodes opens WWE SmackDown
In the ring, Rhodes said he might be Seth Rollins’ Achilles heel. Dismantling the Vision has fallen on his shoulders. Rollins thinks he’s the only one who can carry the company. Cody said Rollins doesn’t like the “QB” nickname that was given to him, but it’s a shared nickname. The WWE is a team. If he isn’t pulling his weight, there are others who can step up on any given night such as Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, CM Punk, Rhea Ripley, Jey Uso, and maybe Seth Rollins. The crowd chanted, “Seth’s a wanker.” Cody again said that he is the one person Seth can’t beat.

Backstage:
Chelsea Green asked Stephanie Vaquer to join the Secret Hervice. Tiffany Stratton appeared and Green left. Vaquer and Stratton agreed to be on the same page for their tag team match later against Giulia and Kiana James.
Backstage:
Jacob Fatu told Cody Rhodes when he is finished with Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel, he wants a shot at his Undisputed WWE Championship. Cody said okay and walked away. Nick Aldis appeared and told Jacob he wanted to discuss something with him. When Aldis left, Drew McIntyre attacked Fatu before officials pulled them apart.
U.S. Title Open Challenge: Sami Zayn (Champion) vs Shinsuke Nakamura
Nakamura came to the ring with his former ring entrance music. He blocked a Blue Thunder Bomb and hit Zayn with a kick to his head. Zayn rolled out of the ring. Nakamura followed him out there. Zayn hit Nakamura with an Exploder Suplex into the barricade followed by a Helluva Kick. Zayn threw Nakamura back into the ring. Nakamura hit Zayn with the Sudden Impact kick. As Nakamura went for the cover, Zayn got his foot on the rope. Nakamura hit Zayn with a kick to the back of the neck.
As Nakamura was setting up the Kinshasa, a hooded man showed up, pulled Nakamura out of the ring, and threw him over the barricade. He pulled off the hood revealing himself as Tama Tonga. The other members of the M.F.T. showed up. Solo Sikoa watched as M.T.F beat up both Zayn and Nakamura to end the segment.

Backstage:
Nick Aldis told Drew McIntyre that he will face Jacob Fatu next week. Jacob Fatu got some revenge by attacking McIntyre before officials again pulled them apart.

Stephanie Vaquer & Tiffany Stratton vs Giulia & Kiana James
Stratton got the Alabama Slam on James and tagged in Vaquer. Vaquer hit the Angel’s Wings on James, but Giulia broke up the count. Stratton tagged in. She hit a Rolling Senton on James, followed by the Prettiest Moonsault Ever to pin her. After the match, Vaquer and Stratton had a face off in front of the Crown Jewel Championship.

Backstage:
Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss agreed to give Sol Ruka and Zaria a shot at their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, but warned them that they don’t think they’re ready for this match.

WWE Tag Team Championship: The Wyatt Sicks (Joe Gacy & Dexter Lumis) (w/ Nikki Cross & Erick Rowan) (Champions) vs The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) (w/ B-Fab)
Ford hit a double blockbuster on Gacy and Lumis. As he went for the cover, Nikki Cross put Gacy’s foot on the bottom rope. B-Fab attacked Cross. Rowan appeared behind F-Fab. Cross dove off the ring steps onto B-Fab. Dawkins dove over the top rope to take down Rowan.
Ford missed a Frog Splash off the top rope on Gacy when Lumis moved him out of the way. The Wyatts won when they hit the Plague on Ford to retain the WWE Tag Titles.
After the match, Solo Sikoa and the M.T.F.s had a staredown with the Wyatts.

Backstage:
The Miz said he saw the potential and believed in Carmelo Hayes. He saw the talent, the attitude, and the swagger in Carmelo. He gave him his time and his knowledge. He wanted to mentor Carmelo, but then Carmelo said he was done with him. The Miz said he is the spotlight and said Carmelo “missed.”
Last Man Standing Match: Damian Priest vs Aleister Black
Priest gave Black two Razor’s Edge onto the announce table. They brawled outside the ring near the production area. Priest gave Black a Broken Arrow on a production equipment box. With Black and Priest on top of the box. Zelina Vega came out and begged Priest to stop. Vega got out of the way and Black threw a fireball at Priest followed by Black Mass, sending Priest off the box through a table. Priest didn’t get up by the count of ten and the match was awarded to Black.
Winner: Aleister Black
