Bret Hart Suddenly Pulls Out Of Wrestling Convention

WWE Hall of Famer Bret “The Hitman” Hart has announced that he is rescheduling his upcoming appearance, originally set for this November. The legendary former five-time WWE Champion was scheduled to be one of the headline names at The Big Event Entertainment & Sports Expo in Brentwood, New York, on Saturday, November 15. In a statement released through Wrestling with Character LIVE on Facebook, Hart explained that “unexpected and unavoidable commitments at home” have made him unable to attend the scheduled dates.

“It pains me, but I’m going I have to reschedule my northeastern United States dates this November, a combination of unexpected and unavoidable commitments at home have left me unable to attend. I hope to see all my fans on the east coast this coming spring!” the statement from Bret read.  While Bret Hart will no longer be appearing, the weekend is still set to be a big one for wrestling fans in the northeast. The Big Event convention on Saturday will still feature a host of other wrestling legends, including Bill Goldberg.

The following day, on Sunday, November 16, Wrestling with Character LIVE will present “Wrestling with KROSS” at H.C. Wilcox Technical High School in Meriden, Connecticut. That event is set to feature former WWE stars Killer Kross & Scarlett Bordeaux, The Mountie, and Dijak, as well as former WWE Women’s Champion Mercedes Martinez, with more surprises still to be announced.

Bret Hart remains one of the most beloved and respected figures in the history of professional wrestling. His iconic career, which saw him win championships all over the world, is still celebrated by fans of all ages.
