WWE Raw: There Is A New Number 1 Contender For The World Heavyweight Championship

Tonight’s episode of WWE Raw concluded with CM Punk becoming the new number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship and the apparent dissolution of The Vision faction in a chaotic series of events.

The main event of the evening was a Triple Threat match between CM Punk, Jey Uso, and LA Knight to determine the next challenger for Seth Rollins’ World Heavyweight Championship. After a back-and-forth contest that went over 13 minutes, Punk secured the victory. The finish saw LA Knight hit Punk with his BFT finisher, but Jey Uso pulled Knight out of the ring during the pinfall attempt. Jey then returned to the ring, but Punk was able to counter him into a GTS for the win.

Following the match, as CM Punk celebrated, he was interrupted by the music of World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, who walked out with his Vision stablemates Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Paul Heyman. Breakker and Reed immediately attacked Jey Uso and LA Knight at ringside before entering the ring to assault Punk. After a spear from Breakker and a Tsunami splash from Reed, Rollins stood over his fallen challenger, telling him he would never win the championship.

The show appeared to be ending with The Vision standing tall, but in a sudden turn, Bron Breakker delivered a spear to Seth Rollins. After a moment of confusion, Breakker told Bronson Reed to make a choice between him and Rollins. Reed responded by hitting a Tsunami splash on the downed Rollins.

The broadcast concluded with Paul Heyman kneeling over a fallen Seth Rollins, before Bron Breakker grabbed him by the collar. Heyman then raised the arms of both Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed as they held the World Heavyweight Championship, signaling a new and powerful alliance.
