WWE NXT And TNA Stars To Compete In #1 Contender’s Battle Royal

The war between WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling is set to continue in a major way on this Tuesday’s episode of NXT, as a battle royal will be held to determine the next challenger for the NXT Women’s Championship. The winner of the over-the-top-rope bout will earn the right to face the reigning champion, Jacy Jayne, at the upcoming NXT Halloween Havoc premium live event.

WWE has announced a star-studded lineup of participants for the battle royal, including a number of current and former champions from both promotions. The list of competitors includes: Lei Ying Lee, Mara Sadé, Xia Brookside, Heather by Elegance, Jordynne Grace, Victoria Crawford, Kelani Jordan, Jaida Parker, Izzi Dame, Tatum Paxley, Lash Legend, Cassie Lee, Jessie McKay, Kendal Grey, Lola Vice, Karmen Petrovic, Sol Ruca, Thea Hail, Arianna Grace, and Wren Sinclair.

The inclusion of TNA stars like the new TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions, The IInspiration (Cassie Lee & Jessie McKay), and Jordynne Grace adds more star power to the match. It should be noted that Jayne was injured at a recent house show.

Elsewhere on the card, TNA’s Matt Cardona will go one-on-one with NXT’s Josh Briggs. The show will also see the NXT in-ring debut of the reigning El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr., as he takes on Lexis King. Also on the card, Blake Monroe will look to get back on the winning track as she faces Zaria in a first-time-ever singles match.
