Young Bucks Update The Status Of Being The Elite

The future of the popular YouTube series “Being The Elite” remains undecided, according to Matt Jackson of The Young Bucks told Undisputed in a new interview Despite the channel’s revival at the end of August after a long period of inactivity, the team is being cautious about committing to a full-fledged return of the vlog-style show that was instrumental in their rise to prominence.

After not uploading a full episode in more than two years, the channel, which has nearly 500,000 subscribers, began posting shorter-form content in late August. In a new interview with “Undisputed,” Matt Jackson explained that the team is deliberately avoiding labeling the new videos as a formal return of the series. “We’re playing it by ear,” Jackson said. “We’ve been very careful not to publicly say it’s back officially or even call what we’ve aired as episodes. We’re referring to it all as BTE content”.

The series, which dates back to before the launch of AEW, was crucial in helping The Young Bucks connect directly with fans and build a massive following. While the new content has been well-received, the team does not want to set expectations too high. “It’s getting a positive reaction, for sure,” Jackson noted. “We don’t want to over-promise, but we’re definitely having a lot of fun with it”.

The renewed activity on the channel comes as The Young Bucks feel they have rediscovered their passion for wrestling. “We have really found that spark again, that love of the game,” Jackson stated. The Young Bucks will take on Jurassic Express this Saturday at AEW’s WrestleDream pay-per-view.

Reflecting on the matchup against “Jungle” Jack Perry and Luchasaurus, Jackson commented on AEW’s growing history. “It’s kind of crazy that AEW has now been around long enough to already have a rich history with acts that feel, in a way, nostalgic,” he said. “Jurassic Express just feels warm, fun, and familiar. When their music hits, it just brings out the kid in everyone… It only makes sense to go out there and kill it with two AEW originals. We all take great pride in our matches together”.
