New Title Match Added To WWE Halloween Havoc

Another championship match has been officially added to the card for the upcoming WWE Halloween Havoc Premium Live Event. During the broadcast of Friday Night SmackDown on October 17, WWE confirmed that the NXT Women’s North American Championship will be defended at the event, scheduled for Saturday, October 25.

Monroe Challenges Ruca

Current NXT Women’s North American Champion Sol Ruca will defend her title against challenger Blake Monroe. The match was set up following events that transpired earlier on the SmackDown broadcast. Monroe was shown watching from the crowd as Ruca teamed with her NXT partner Zaria to unsuccessfully challenge Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. Monroe directly influenced the outcome of the match, distracting Ruca which allowed Flair to apply the Figure Eight submission for the victory.

Stacked Halloween Havoc Card

With the addition of the NXT Women’s North American Championship match, the Halloween Havoc card now features five championship bouts. The event will be headlined by Ricky Saints defending the NXT Championship against Trick Williams.

In other title action, Jacy Jayne defends the NXT Women’s Championship against Tatum Paxley, The Hardy Boyz put their NXT Tag Team Championships on the line against DarkState, and NXT North American Champion Ethan Page faces El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. in a Day of the Dead match. The updated card includes:

  • NXT Champion Ricky Saints (c) vs. Trick Williams
  • NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne (c) vs. Tatum Paxley
  • NXT Tag Team Champions The Hardys (c) vs. DarkState
  • Day of the Dead match: NXT North American Champion Ethan Page (c) vs. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr.
  • NXT Women’s North American Champion Sol Ruca (c) vs. Blake Monroe

The event takes place just one week before WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1.
