AEW WrestleDream Results: Kris Statlander Keeps Women’s World Title

AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander vs. Toni Storm took place at the AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view from the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri. 

Kris worked over the ribs of Toni and as Toni was trying to mount any offense, she kept getting knocked down. Kris with a back suplex then hit a leap frog splash off the middle rope. The crowd was dead for this one. Toni with a series of strikes before Kris hit a face buster, but missed a follow up knee and Toni hit a DDT. Toni with a tiger driver for 2. Toni with a hammerlock move for 2. Kris avoided storm zero, but was caught with a cradle for 2. Kris with a tiger driver for 2. Kris with a Saturday night fever then an arm/neck submission before Kris hit Saturday night fever for the win. 

Winner: Statlander
