Our live coverage will begin with the AEW Tailgate Brawl at 7 PM ET / 4 PM PT

AEW Tailgate Brawl:

Roderick Strong and The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly, and Tomohiro Ishii) vs. Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia, and Pac)

Yuta hit O’Reilly with a Busaiku Knee. Ishii nailed PAC  with a lariat. Garcia grabbed the ref’s foot. This allowed PAC to hit a running knee on Ishii and pin him. 

Winners: Death Riders

Eddie Kingston & Hook vs The Frat House (Griff Garrison & Cole Carter) (w/ Jacked Jameson)

Hook and Kingston gave Garrison and Carter simultaneous suplexes. Jameson got on the ring apron and Hook threw him in the ring. Kingston chopped Jameson in the corner. Hook ducked a chop from Garrison and it hit Carter. Kingston hit the spinning back fist on Carter and Hook got the Redrum on him, forcing him to submit.

Winners: Eddie Kingston & Hook

Big Boom AJ & Big Justice are having a Tailgate Party for the PPV in Boca Raton, FL. They plugged the show and said they will bring the boom to Rocky Romero, Trent Beretta & any partner they choose next month at Full Gear. Romero & Beretta beat up AJ as Justice was crying. 

Harley Cameron & Willow Nightingale vs. Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford

Cameron gave Ford a pump handle suplex. Cameron tagged in Willow who gave Ford a powerbomb and pinned her.

Winners: Harley Cameron & Willow Nightingale

FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) (with Stokely) vs. JetSpeed (“Speedball” Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight)

This match started during the AEW Tailgate Brawl and continued into the PPV. Harwood clotheslined Knight over the top rope. Knight caught Harwood in a backslide for near fall. He followed it up with two spinning kicks to Harwood’s head, went for the pine, but Wheeler broke it up. Knight came off the top rope with a clothesline on Wheeler. Bailey went for a suplex on Harwood, but Harwood fell on top of him and pinned him with Stokely holding onto Bailey’s feet so he couldn’t kick out.

Winners: FTR

AEW WrestleDream 2025

Tony Schiavone interviewed Lou Thesz’s wife, Charlie, at ringside who said she is glad to be here tonight.

Jamie Hayter vs. Thekla

It was announced that Tony Khan said there will be no seconds or interference in this match. Thekla ducked a clothesline and hit her with a spear but Hayter got her foot under the rope. Thekla charged at Hayter who hit her with two clotheslines and pinned her. Queen Aminata came in after the match to hug Hayter as Julia Hart and Sky Blue stood at the top of the entrance ramp.

Winner: Jamie Hayter

Jurassic Express (Jack Perry and Luchasaurus) vs. The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) (The winners receive a $500,000 cash prize.)

The Bucks gave Perry the EVP Trigger for a near fall. As they went for the Meltzer Driver, Luchasaurus caught Nick with a chokeslam. Perry hit Matt with a reverse hurricanrana. The Express then nailed Matt with the Countdown to Extinction to win the match. After the match, the Don Callis Family came out to attack Jurassic Express until Kenny Omega came in to make the save.

Winners: Jurassic Express

#1 Contender’s Match for the AEW World Trios Championship: The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and MVP) vs. The Demand (Ricochet, Bishop Kaun, and Toa Liona)

MVP hit a Perfect Plex on Ricochet but Liona broke up the pin attempt. Liona caught Lashley in the Cobra clutch. Benjamin hit Liona with a knee to the face. Lashley hit a spear on Liona. Ricochet was left alone with all three Hurt members. Kaun sacrificed himself by pulling Ricochet out of the ring and standing up to the Syndicate. Lashley hit him with a spear and pinned him.

Winners: The Hurt Syndicate

AEW TNT Championship: Kyle Fletcher (w/ Don Callis) (c) vs. Mark Briscoe

Fletcher blocked the Cut Throat and pushed Briscoe into the referee allowing Fletcher to give Briscoe a low blow. Fletcher hit Briscoe with a brainbuster. The referee recovered to make a two-count. Fletcher then hit Briscoe with a knee to the jaw for a near fall. Fletcher tossed Briscoe face first into the turnbuckle and hit him with another kick. He then gave Briscoe a twisting brainbuster on the top turnbuckle to pin him and retain his championship.

AEW Women’s World Championship: Kris Statlander (c) vs. “Timeless” Toni Storm

Toni hit a Tiger Driver for a near fall. Kris blocked the Storm Zero and hit a Tiger Driver for a two-count. Kris hit the Saturday Night Fever and locked in an arm/neck submission before Kris hit the Saturday Night Fever to score the pinfall. The two hugged after the match.

Mercedes Mone’s TBS Championship Open Challenge:

Mercedes “Ultimo” Moe interrupted Statlander when she came to the ring and asked who was going to be the next challenger to her TBS Championship. Mina Shirakawa came to the ring. They announced this match is a title for title match as it will be for the TBS Championship and the ROH Interim Women’s World TV Championship. Mone pushed Mina into the turnbuckles. Mina charged at Mone but Mone rolled her up pinned her with her feet on the ropes

After the match, Statlander came to the ring and gave Mone a Samoan Drop.

Winner and new ROH Interim Women’s World TV Champion: Mercedes Mone

AEW World Tag Team Championship: Brodido (Bandido and Brody King) (c) vs. Don Callis Family (Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita) (with Don Callis)

Bandido ducked the Rainmaker by Okada and it hit Takeshita which put a smile on Okada’s face. Okada turned around and Bandido hit him with a knee to the jaw. Bandido ducked another Rainmaker and Brody caught him with a powerbomb. Brody dove through the ropes onto Takeshita and Bandido hit the 21-Plex on Okada to pin him and retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

Backstage:

Toni Storm was laying in the corner. Mina Shirakawa entered. Toni said we lost everything. Mina said they have each other and they hugged.

AEW World Championship: “Hangman” Adam Page (c) vs. Samoa Joe

Joe ducked the Buckshot Lariat and caught Page in the Kokina Clutch. Page made it to the ropes to break the hold. Page blocked the Muscle Buster and hit the Dead Eye on Joe for a two-count. Page hit the Buckshot Lariat but Joe didn’t go down. He hit Joe with another one and pinned him to retain the championship.

After the match, Powerhouse Hobbs and Shibata came in stand by Joe. Page and Joe shook hands and hugged. Joe then clotheslined Page. Hobbs and Shibata held Page while Joe hit him in the head with the title belt. Joe then gave Page a Muscle Buster

Backstage:

Mercedes Mone challenged Kris Statlander for her AEW World Women’s Championship at Full Gear.

“I Quit” match: Darby Allin vs. Jon Moxley (w/ Marina Shafir)

Moxley put the skewers in Allin’s finger. Allin hung Moxley over the top rope with a chain. Moxley whipped All in with a leather belt. Allin poured lighter fluid over Moxley and pulled out the Molotov cocktail. Allin maced Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia. Moxley hit a cutter and wiped the lighter fluid off himself. Moxley pulled a taser out of Allin’s bag and used it on Allin’s stomach. Claudio Castagnoli threw All in over the top rope to the top of the announce desk. Moxley gave the Death Rider on Allin through two tables outside the ring. Claudio and PAC filled and aquarium with water. Moxley pushed Allin’s head into the aquarium.

The lights went out, and when they came back on, Sting was in the ring. He attacked the Death Riders with his bat. He smashed the aquarium, handed Allin the bat, and left the ring. Shafir got in Sting’s face. Sting picked her up and walked her to the back. Allin started clubbing Moxley with the back. He took the AEW flag, choked Moxley with it, and delivered the Scorpion Death Lock. Allin hit the Coffin Drop and locked Moxley in the Scorpion Death Lock and Moxley quit.

Winner: Darby Allin
