Following last night’s episode of WWE Raw in Sacramento, California, Big E gave high praise to Roxanne Perez, a member of The Judgment Day, for her performance and potential on the official WWE Raw Recap post-show. The praise came after the former NXT Women’s Champion lost a non-title match to the current WWE Women’s World Champion, Stephanie Vaquer.
Speaking about Perez and her potential to become a top name in the future, the former WWE Champion stated that he believes she has already arrived. “We talk about her being the future, I think she’s also the present,” Big E noted.
Big E predicted a career filled with championships and main event spots for the young star, who is currently signed to the Raw brand. “She’s gonna be one of those women who, we’ll look back at her career in 15-20 years, and we’ll see all the world championships, we’ll see all the main events. What a star she is,” he said. Perez has already experienced main roster gold, having previously been a one-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion with Raquel Rodriguez.
The Mindset for Success in WWE
Big E added that, having spent time with Perez at a Q&A session, he believes she possesses the necessary mental fortitude and approach for a long and successful career.
“I got to spend a little bit of time in Perth with her doing a Q&A, and just the way she carries herself, her desire to grow, the way she interacts with fans. I think she just has the right head on her shoulders for this game,” Big E explained. He believes that her current mindset will help her navigate the unique pressures of the industry. “There’s so many different things that are gonna be thrown at you that really will tax you mentally, and I think she has the mindset”.
Big E shared his belief that Perez has already proven her star power and is set for an immediate push up the card. “I really think she’s shown a lot of people, and continues to show people every single week, that she is indeed a star, and is only going to continue to climb to the top of the card,” he ended.
Roxanne Perez’s Current Status on Raw
On last night’s Raw, the animosity between Perez and Vaquer was visible, resulting in Perez and Raquel Rodriguez attacking the Women’s World Champion after the match. Nikki Bella made the save for Vaquer, setting the stage for a potential feud. Perez, known as “The Prodigy,” is also a two-time NXT Women’s Champion and the former inaugural ROH Women’s World Champion.
