Sheamus Declares His ‘Never Retiring Tour’ Is Underway

Sheamus, who had been sidelined since WWE Clash In Paris, made his return to in-ring action on last night’s episode of WWE Raw in Sacramento, California. The Irishman’s return came as he competed in the World Heavyweight Championship number one contender’s battle royal.

Sheamus is one name who does not plan on joining the current wave of wrestling retirements. John Cena will be retiring on December 13 at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, AJ Styles has confirmed his last match will be in 2026, and AEW star Samoa Joe has said he intends to retire when his current contract ends. Additionally, Shinsuke Nakamura has also indicated he feels his time in the ring might be coming soon.

Taking to social media after the show, Sheamus defiantly declared that his own career is nowhere near its end. He dubbed last night’s return the beginning of a sustained run, stating: “Sheamus ‘Never F***ing Retiring Tour’ started Monday 20th October 2025. Bangers never quit.”

New Feud After World Title Match

Following his elimination from the World Heavyweight Championship battle royal, Sheamus immediately brawled with Judgment Day members Finn Balor and JD McDonagh. The battle royal itself was necessary because Seth Rollins was stripped of the title due to an injury sustained during his match at WWE Crown Jewel. Jey Uso won the battle royal.

Uso will now advance to face CM Punk for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1.
