Samatha Irvin Has A Lot Of Time Left On Her Non-Compete Clause After WWE Exit

Former WWE ring announcer Samantha Irvin recently marked the one-year anniversary of her departure from the company and confirmed that she still has one year remaining on a non-compete clause, signaling her eventual return to the wrestling industry.

Irvin abruptly left her role as the WWE Raw ring announcer on October 21, 2024, leading to the return of Lilian Garcia as her replacement on the Raw broadcast. Garcia completed her full-time run in March 2025, but continues to announce special events.

In a social media post, Irvin provided an update on her current status and creative focus, while expressing affection for her fans. She wrote: “One year down, one year left on my non-compete! Can’t wait I hope you enjoy my songs in the meantime and look back on all the memories as fondly as I do! Love & miss you all and remember- I NEVER left FOR music, I am music. Hope to see you soon…”. The message clarified a major point of discussion surrounding her exit, which many speculated was to focus solely on her music career.

Since her departure, Irvin has returned to music, releasing her first solo single, Make Me, in February 2025. She also released a music video for a new track, Shawty Wanna, in April 2025.
