On his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T took a moment to remember Sir Mo (Bobby Horne) of the tag team Men on a Mission, following news of his passing. Booker T offered his condolences and acknowledged Mo’s contributions alongside his partner Mabel (later Viscera/Big Daddy V).
“You know, God bless Mo. From men of the mission,” Booker T said. “Mobel, those guys definitely made their mark in this business. Definitely broke a lot of ground in this business”.
While Booker T mentioned he never personally crossed paths with Sir Mo, he emphasized the positive reputation Mo held within the industry. “So nah, man, big ups and prayers. Ups to Mo and his family. Condolences to his family.
And no, I never crossed paths with him, but I’ve never heard a bad thing about him. I never heard one bad word about him,” Booker T stated. “And that right there tells me a whole lot about a person in this business, because when you’ve been a part of this business, people have nothing but good things to say about you. Yeah. That means everything. That says a whole lot”.
