WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton competed on SmackDown in a non-title match against Kiana James, who was accompanied by Giulia. Stratton won the match, but a notable series of events unfolded afterward involving both Giulia and Jade Cargill.
Match Details
During the contest, Kiana James was able to avoid Stratton’s Prettiest Moonsault Ever. James then hit a Falcon Arrow and covered Stratton for a two-count. Later, Stratton blocked a superplex attempt from James. Stratton then successfully executed the Prettiest Moonsault Ever and pinned James to secure the victory.
Post-Match Confrontation
Immediately after the match, Giulia entered the ring and attacked Stratton from behind, hitting her with the Arrivederci. As Giulia and James were in the ring with Stratton, Jade Cargill came out. Cargill entered the ring, used a big kick on Giulia, and punched Kiana James, removing her from the ring apron.
Cargill Attacks Stratton
Following the intervention, Cargill helped Stratton to her feet and raised her arm. Cargill then hit Stratton with a clothesline. She proceeded to throw Stratton into the ring post and then into the ring steps at ringside. Cargill continued to strike Stratton until WWE officials came to the ring to end the altercation.
