Carmella Criticizes Corey Graves’ Short WWE Paternity Leave

Carmella recently shared her thoughts on the length of paternity leave provided to her husband, WWE commentator Corey Graves, following the birth of their second child. The couple welcomed Bram Julian Polinsky in October 2025, but Graves returned to his commentary duties just days later.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Carmella explained the circumstances surrounding Graves’ quick return. “His paternity leave started a week early, and since Bram was past his due date, by the time he was born, Matt had to go back to work,” she shared. “He had to go back like five days after we came home from the hospital, which sucks”.

While Carmella appreciated that Graves was present for the birth, she believes WWE could have offered more flexibility regarding time off afterward. “I guess I’d rather have him leave a little early postpartum than have him miss the birth of his child. So we had to compromise,” Carmella stated. “I still think he should have way more time off than just five days after the baby’s born. That’s crazy, but you gotta do what you gotta do.”

Carmella has in the past openly shared her journey to becoming a mother, including previously suffering an ectopic pregnancy and a miscarriage. Corey Graves has indeed returned to his regular commentary duties for WWE Raw, appearing on the broadcasts following the birth of his son.

While Carmella shared her wish for a longer leave for Graves, WWE’s current official paternity leave policy details are not publicly disclosed, and policies can vary. Carmella remains inactive from in-ring competition as she recovers postpartum.
