WWE Stars To Challenge For NOAH’s GHC Tag Team Titles

The tag team formerly known as Hank Walker and Tank Ledger in NXT, now billed simply as Hank & Tank, has quickly secured a championship opportunity in Pro Wrestling NOAH. Just days after arriving in Japan, the duo is set to challenge Masa Kitamiya and Takashi Sugiura for the GHC Tag Team Championship.

Pro Wrestling NOAH confirmed the title match will take place on November 8 at the historic Korakuen Hall. Hank & Tank earned this opportunity following their successful NOAH debut on Sunday morning, where they defeated Alpha Wolf and Dragon Bane. Later on the same show, Hank & Tank confronted Kitamiya and Sugiura backstage, issuing a challenge for the GHC Tag Team titles, which the champions subsequently accepted.

This move to Japan comes shortly after Hank & Tank were written off WWE NXT programming. On last week’s NXT episode, the team was attacked and taken out by the returning Out The Mud (OTM) faction. Their tour of Japan began almost immediately after this storyline injury angle.

The appearance of Hank & Tank continues a recent trend of NXT talent competing on Pro Wrestling NOAH cards. Over the past month, Charlie Dempsey and Harlem Lewis debuted, wrestling each other on October 4 before teaming with Yoshiki Inamura on October 21. Inamura himself recently returned to NOAH after spending a significant portion of 2025 wrestling on NXT television in the United States.

The upcoming GHC Tag Team Championship match on November 8 at Korakuen Hall will be a significant test for Hank & Tank as they aim to capture major tag team gold in Japan shortly after their arrival. Pro Wrestling NOAH continues to build its relationship with WWE NXT, featuring several crossover talents on recent shows.
