Dragon Lee is reportedly making a strong impression within WWE, leading to discussions about his long-term future with the company. According to a report from PWInsiderElite.com, there is already talk among some within WWE about securing Lee to a new contract before his current deal expires next year.
The report notes that Lee received positive reviews for his performance against Dominik Mysterio over the weekend at the AAA Héroes Inmortales event. Dragon Lee signed with WWE in December 2022 and initially reported to the NXT brand.
He quickly made an impact, winning the NXT North American Championship in December 2023. After a brief reign, he transitioned to the main roster, being drafted to the Raw brand as part of the Latino World Order stable in the 2024 WWE Draft.
Lee continued to gain momentum, winning the WWE Speed Championship in November 2024 and holding it until May 2025. Most recently, on the October 20, 2025, episode of Raw, Lee achieved another milestone by capturing the World Tag Team Championship alongside AJ Styles, defeating The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and JD McDonagh.
This marked Lee’s first major championship win on the main roster. As of this writing, WWE has not confirmed a match for him at Saturday Night’s Main Event this weekend.
