Sol Ruca missed the recent NXT Halloween Havoc Premium Live Event as she was not medically cleared to compete. With NXT Deadline approaching, the former NXT Women’s North American Champion has offered an update on her recovery and potential status for the show.
Taking to her Instagram account, Ruca shared that while she hasn’t received medical clearance yet, she is actively working towards being ready for the December event. “I may not be cleared just yet, but I’m doing everything in my power to be at NXT Deadline,” Ruca stated in her post.
Ruca’s inability to compete at Halloween Havoc came after she attempted to intervene in the NXT Women’s North American Championship match between then-champion Zaria and challenger Blake Monroe. Despite Ruca’s efforts to help Zaria, Monroe ultimately won the match and the championship.
NXT Deadline is scheduled to take place on December 6th in San Antonio, Texas. Fans are hopeful that Ruca will receive clearance in time to participate, as she likely aims to reclaim the NXT Women’s North American Championship she previously held. We wish her a speedy recovery.
