Chelsea Green will be a part of the WWE roster for years to come.
A recent report from Fightful Select noted that Green had signed a new contract with WWE. Additional details have come out regarding the length of the deal and when it was completed. Fightful began asking about her status, as Green’s original three-year deal was signed in late 2022 and was set to expire in late 2025.
According to the report, WWE officials approached Green well before her contract was up. The two sides finalized a new deal in January. WWE sources confirmed the new contract is for five years. This new agreement extends Green’s time with the company all the way to 2030. Green had been a fixture in the United States Title division after holding the championship. She has also been working on the NXT brand recently.
In addition to her work on Friday Night SmackDown, Green has also appeared on NXT in recent months, forming an alliance with NXT Men’s North American Champion Ethan Page. There have reportedly been conversations within WWE about bringing their partnership to the main roster. Before that, they will be traveling to AAA.
Green and Page will be in Monterrey, Mexico, this Sunday, November 2, for a Dia de Muertos special event. Green and Page are scheduled to challenge La Hiedra and Mr. Iguana for the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship.
