WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event Results: CM Punk Wins World Heavyweight Title

CM Punk vs. Jey Uso for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship took place at the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event from in Salt Lake City, Utah, at Delta Center.

Punk was getting the better of Jey before going for a GTS and Jey rolled out of the ring. They did some spots before Punk hit him with GTS, but Jey rolled out of the ring. Punk poured water on Jey then tossed him back into the ring. Punk with a suplex for 2. Jey fought back and they traded strikes. Punk with a running knee and a bull dog. Jey with a superkick, sending Punk to the floor. Jey with a dive to the floor. Jey with a spear through the barricade. They hit each other’s finishers. Jey hit a spear to Punk for 2. Jey put Punk in a sleeper, but Punk got out of it and put him in the anaconda device, but Jey got to the bottom rope. Jey rolled him up for 2. Jey with some superkicks before Punk kneed himin the facce and hit two GTS’ for the win. 

Winner: Punk
