GoFundMe Launched For Ridge Holland After WWE Release

Ridge Holland’s WWE run is officially over, and a GoFundMe has been launched to help the former WWE Superstar and his family. Holland, real name Luke Menzies, has been dealing with serious medical and financial issues since suffering a Lisfranc foot injury during a TNA appearance on behalf of WWE in September. W

WE informed Holland that his contract would not be renewed on its November 14 expiration date. After Holland publicly posted about his financial frustrations, WWE terminated his deal a week early. The fundraiser, organized by Susan Chapman of Saint Cloud, Florida, aims to raise $60,000 to support Holland, his wife, and their three children. The GoFundMe page bluntly tells the story:

“A hardworking husband. A devoted wife. Three beautiful children. And a devastating injury that threatens to take it all away.”

The page describes Holland as a 1099 contractor, making him ineligible for workers’ compensation or paid leave. It also notes that the family already endured a 55% pay cut when Holland re-signed in 2024 and are now facing severe financial hardship.

“They are at risk of losing their home. Of falling into debt they may never escape. Of having their kids face a holiday season filled with fear and uncertainty rather than joy.”

The campaign’s mission is to cover essentials like mortgage payments, hospital travel, food, and bills. Holland may need a neck fusion surgery as early as this month, with a second surgery scheduled for March. His recovery is expected to keep him out of work until at least April or May 2026.

Fellow WWE star Chelsea Green shared the GoFundMe on social media and committed to donating $1,000 a month, hoping to rally support.

Holland’s release reportedly stemmed from his public statements, including: “I never thought I’d not be able to pay my mortgage. I feel like I’ve just been hung out to dry after getting injured working for another company on behalf of WWE.”
