Chelsea Green is the New Women’s United States Champion
Chelsea Green has captured the Women’s United States Championship after defeating Giulia in a chaotic match on WWE SmackDown.
The match, which had Ethan Page sitting in the front row, featured heavy involvement from the wrestlers at ringside. Giulia was accompanied by Kiana James, while Chelsea Green had Alba Fyre in her corner.
Chaos Erupts at Ringside
With the referee distracted, James gave Green a forearm shot. This brought Alba Fyre into action, who came over and superkicked James to neutralize the threat.
The brawl at ringside continued to escalate, which drew the attention of the champion. Giulia turned her back to kick Fyre, leaving herself vulnerable. With Giulia’s back turned, Green seized the opportunity. Green rolled up Giulia and pinned her with her feet on the ropes to win the United States Championship. The referee, whose attention was still diverted, counted the pinfall, not seeing the illegal leverage.
Ethan Page Celebrates with the New Champion
After the match, Ethan Page, Green’s AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champion partner, who had been watching from the crowd, joined the celebration. Page lifted Green on her shoulders as the new champion held her title high.
