John Cena To Wrestle On Next Week’s WWE Raw?

Netflix has released a new trailer hyping John Cena’s last-ever appearance on WWE Raw. The historic show will take place next Monday, November 17, at Madison Square Garden.

This will be one of Cena’s final three appearances before his retirement. His remaining schedule includes the Raw at MSG, Survivor Series: WarGames on November 29, and his final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13.

One Last Match

Netflix’s description for the new trailer appears to confirm that Cena will be wrestling on the episode. Cena is coming off a historic night on November 10 in Boston, where he defeated Dominik Mysterio to win the Intercontinental Championship for the first time, finally becoming a WWE Grand Slam Champion.

“This Monday night, witness the end of an era. John Cena takes center stage for his FINAL appearance ever on Monday Night RAW,” Netflix wrote. “One last match. One unforgettable farewell. Celebrate the legacy of a true WWE legend!”

Tournament and Title Matches

The “Last Time Is Now” tournament to determine Cena’s final opponent for the December 13 Saturday Night’s Main Event will also continue at MSG. Two first-round matches are scheduled: the returning Gunther will face NXT’s Je’Von Evans, and Solo Sikoa will take on a mystery opponent. They will look to join Rusev and Sheamus, who both advanced in their respective matches on last night’s Raw.

Also scheduled for the broadcast, Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch will defend her title against Maxxine Dupri.
