Tatum Paxley Grants Jacy Jayne Title Rematch at NXT Gold Rush
NXT kicked off with the NXT Women’s Champion, Tatum Paxley, who came to the ring accompanied by The Culling. Paxley began by stating that to remain champion, she knows she has to start listening to her friends and thanked Izzi Dame for forgiving her.
Conflicting Advice
Izzi Dame advised Paxley that The Culling only wants the best for Tatum, but warned her that she has to stop making irrational decisions and giving everybody a title opportunity. Dame noted, the more times you do that, the more likely you are to lose the title.
The segment was interrupted by Fatal Influence, led by Jacy Jayne. Jayne told Tatum that she needs to be a fighting champion and give her a rematch to prove her win wasn’t a fluke.
Izzi Dame immediately stepped in and said Tatum is not falling for this. However, Jacy Jayne told Tatum she needs to think about how she will be remembered as a champion and needs to give her a title match.”
The Match is Made
After thinking it over, Paxley announced that she is granting Jacy her rematch at NXT Gold Rush next Tuesday, making the NXT Women’s Championship match official.
