Hangman Page: Attending An AEW Show Is ‘Like Going To Cook Out For The First Time’

During an interview with WXII 12 News to promote the 2025 Blood & Guts edition of AEW Dynamite, AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page described the unique AEW experience.

Page’s ‘Cook Out’ Analogy

Page used a food analogy to explain what fans can expect, comparing a wrestling show to a specific fast-food establishment.

“Going to a wrestling show for the first time is like going to cook out for the first time. You think you know what you’re going to get, right? And you go up there to order the tray, and you think, I’ll get a double cheeseburger. You think you’re going to get fries for a side, but you’re going to get an entire corn dog for a side. You’re going to get a chicken wrap for a side. And you think you might just get a Coke or something, you’re going to get a cheer wine float as the drink.”

Page continued, “It is the entire experience, everything that you could want, things you didn’t know you wanted, you’re going to get that, and it’s going to be affordable. I think tickets start at $29. So it’s something affordable for you, the family, everybody involved.”

A Family Affair

The AEW World Champion also noted that the Greensboro show would be a special one for him personally, as his family will be in attendance.

“I’ll have a lot of family there. I think this might be the first wrestling show that my wife is going to bring my son to see.”

Page is set to be in action at the Blood & Guts special tonight in Greensboro, North Carolina. He is scheduled to face AEW World Trios Champion Powerhouse Hobbs in a non-title Falls Count Anywhere match.
