During a discussion about selling the spinebuster on his ARN podcast, Arn Anderson brought up Dolph Ziggler, aka Nic Nemeth, offering high praise for the former WWE star’s talent and business sense.
Anderson noted that Ziggler was a performer who understood his job perfectly and was smart enough to capitalize on it. “[he] is another guy that is an incredible worker. Great worker, great businessman. All those things didn’t get nearly enough credit, and he was smart enough to … just slide in that ring and steal the show and slide back out of there and just keep doing it night after night and just get rich.”
During his long WWE career, he became a two-time World Heavyweight Champion, six-time Intercontinental Champion, two-time United States Champion, and a one-time NXT Champion. He also won the 2012 Money in the Bank ladder match and was recognized as a Triple Crown Champion.
Following his WWE release in September 2023, Nemeth debuted in both TNA and NJPW in January 2024. He went on to win the TNA World Championship, the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship, and the AAA Mega Championship.
