Dustin Rhodes Provides In-Depth Update on Knee Replacement Recovery

AEW star Dustin Rhodes posted a detailed update on X regarding his recovery from double knee replacement surgery, revealing he is “just under 3 months out” from the major procedure. He offered a candid look at his daily struggles but remained firm on his goal for an in-ring return.

Rhodes, 56, noted that the recovery process has been challenging. “I am still in a considerable amount of pain especially in mornings,” he wrote. “I am 56 yrs old and it is taking a lot longer for recovery guys.”

“The Natural” detailed the specific physical challenges he is currently facing. “The hardest thing for me at this moment, is getting up from a chair, and stepping down a step with right especially,” he shared.

Despite the difficulties, Rhodes stated he is “on track for my age and then some,” attributing his progress to his “strong work ethic and an athlete.” He also mentioned he “cannot wait to actually strengthen” his legs once he is able to.

Rhodes Sets Timeline for “Greatest Comeback”

In the post, Rhodes gave fans a target for his much-anticipated return to the ring, eyeing the first quarter of 2026.

“Prob late Feb, early March for the greatest comeback of anyone in their 50’s,” he declared.
