AJ Styles Makes Surprise Appearance At Georgia Indie Show

AJ Styles made a surprise appearance at an independent wrestling show on Friday night.

According to fan reports, the current WWE World Tag Team Champion appeared at Southern Honor Wrestling’s 7th Anniversary event in Canton, Georgia. Styles came out following the main event, which was a steel cage match. In that match, Alexander Lev won the promotion’s top championship after using a Styles Clash to secure the victory.

Photos from the event show Styles inside the steel cage, holding the Southern Honor Wrestling championship belt alongside the new champion. As of this writing, no video of the appearance has been made widely available. The appearance was a surprise to the fans in attendance and was not advertised by the promotion.

Styles is coming off an eventful month in WWE. His appearance in Georgia follows a busy period that included a match against John Cena at WWE Crown Jewel in Australia. After that international event, Styles teamed up with Dragon Lee to win the World Tag Team Championships from Finn Balor and JD McDonagh on the October 20 episode of WWE Raw.

The new champions then successfully defended the titles against the former champions in a rematch on the November 3 episode of Raw.
