Kevin Nash: ‘I’m Just Not Feeling The Fu**ing Kabuki Warriors’

On the Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash gave his opinion on Becky Lynch’s heel run and the recent push of The Kabuki Warriors. A fan asked why WWE keeps pushing Lynch as a heel when her run “isn’t working” and she’s a “such a good babyface”.

Nash gave his analysis of the character, suggesting her size and appearance make it difficult for her to be a convincing heel. “She’s undersized and she’s a pretty girl, like she’s, I don’t know,” Nash said.

His thoughts then turned to the newly crowned WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane). Nash was blunt in his assessment: “I have a hard time with a lot…..I’m just not feeling the fucking Kabuki Warriors”.

Nash offered a business-related theory as to why the team might be featured so prominently, comparing it to a previous push for Jinder Mahal. “I don’t know, I’m not privy to their numbers, but they must do some numbers in Japan, where they’ve got to have some… When India became an emerging marketplace for the WWE? That’s when Jinder [Mahal], he was a champion for quite a while. Then they brought him back for a minute. He kind of got over. They just fucking shit canned him”.

The Kabuki Warriors won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship on the November 10 episode of Raw, defeating Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. Their celebration was cut short by Nia Jax and Lash Legend, leading to a brawl that prompted the return of Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY. Becky Lynch, meanwhile, is scheduled to defend her Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Maxxine Dupri on the November 17 episode of Raw.
