Tatum Paxley Issues Challenge to TNA Star Rosemary
NXT Women’s Champion Tatum Paxley is looking to open the “Forbidden Door” once again. During an appearance on The Battleground Podcast, Paxley expressed her desire to defend her championship against TNA Wrestling veteran Rosemary.
With WWE’s recent collaborations with TNA and other promotions, Paxley was asked if there was anyone she wanted to step into the ring with. “I wrestled her already, but I had so much fun, I would love to have a title shot, a title opportunity for Rosemary at TNA,” Paxley declared. “I think that would be a lot of fun.”
Paxley also reflected on her previous crossover experience, challenging Jordynne Grace for the TNA Knockouts World Championship earlier in her career. “I was the first contracted WWE wrestler to crossover and challenge Jordan Grace,” she noted. “For somebody in my position who didn’t grow up on the independent scene, who only knows WWE wrestling, it really helped me advance and boost my confidence to get to wrestle somebody that, at the time, was under TNA contract, you know, getting to wrestle people with different styles that have been there, done that, been all over the place.”
As champion, she wants to keep those doors open. “I want everybody to have their opportunity,” Paxley said. “I know my best friend, Izzi and the Culling, they kind of want me to take a step back and not be so giving to everybody, but I want to give out as many title opportunities that I possibly can.”
