Ricky Saints vs. Oba Femi Official for NXT Deadline
A major championship rematch has been made official for NXT Deadline following a tense in-ring confrontation between champion Ricky Saints and Oba Femi.
The segment began with Ricky Saints addressing his rival. Saints told Femi that Femi had underestimated him in the past. Standing his ground, the champion declared that Femi won’t take the NXT title from him.
Femi responded by shedding light on his recent absence from the brand. He revealed that he went back to his country and spent his time away training. He warned Saints that the result of that training is that he has come back better than ever.
The former champion did not mince words regarding his plans for the future. Femi stated that he will destroy Saints and regain his title.
Saints was quick to respond to the threat. He told Femi that if he wants a rematch at Deadline, he’s got it, setting the stage for their championship clash at the upcoming premium live event.
WWE NXT Deadline is set for December 6, 2025 at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, TX
