Mercedes Mone Becomes Undisputed ROH Women’s World TV Champion
Mercedes Mon has officially unified the ROH Women’s World TV Championship. In a high-stakes Interim vs. Champion bout, Mone defeated Red Velvet to become the undisputed titleholder.
Statlander was present on commentary for the bout, which quickly spilled out of the ring. During a ringside brawl, Mone threw Velvet directly into Statlander, knocking the AEW champion off her chair. The collision drew Statlander to the ring apron.
With the referee distracted by warning Statlander to get down, Red Velvet picked up the title belt, tossed it to Mone, and collapsed to the mat, trying to frame Mone The referee turned around to see Moné holding the weapon, but the ensuing confusion only led to a roll-up by Velvet for a close two-count.
The match culminated on the top rope, where Mone regained control. She executed a Super Lung Blower from the top turnbuckle, driving Velvet down for the pinfall to secure the victory and the undisputed championship.
Post-Match Assault on Kris Statlander
The celebration quickly turned violent. Mone stood on the announce desk to celebrate, while Statlander stood nearby. Mone tossed her title belt at Statlander to distract her.
As Statlander reacted to the object, Mone launched herself off the table with a flying knee, taking out the AEW Women’s World Champion. She followed up by locking Statlander in her signature submission, the Bank Statement. Mone ended the segment by holding up Statlander’s AEW Women’s World Championship to end the show.
