AEW Full Gear Results: Mistico, Mascara Dorada, And Neon Retain CMLL World Trios Titles

CMLL World Trios Champions Mistico, Mascara Dorada, and Neon vs. Kazuchika Okada, Hechicero, and Konosuke Takeshita took place at the AEW Full Gear pay-per-view event from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Okada wasn’t out there when the match started and it was stated he was having travel issues. Mistico was tossed into the steel steps and he was checked on by the medical staff. The bell finally sounded as Mistico was being helped to the back. Okada arrived to the building with his ring gear, but was in no hurry. This match carred over into the PPV. Mistico later ran out to the ring. Okada tossed Takeshita out of the ring at one point and then caught Neon with a drop kick before missing his finisher. Neon went for a move, but was caught by Takeshita, hit hit a driver then a suplex. Okada almost hit Takeshita before Okada and Takeshita worked together before they started to argue. Okada accidentally hit Takeshita with the rainmaker before being taken out with a hurricanrona. The babyfaces hit an outside dive to take out the heels. Mistico made Hechicero tap out.
