Absent WWE Star Expected To Return To TV Soon

Jacob Fatu may be terrorizing the SmackDown roster again sooner rather than later. There was talk backstage at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames that Fatu is close to returning to WWE storylines after taking time off to recover from a dental procedure.

According to a report from PWInsider, the belief among some sources is that Fatu could be back on the road within the next few weeks. While an exact date for his return has not been confirmed, the backstage chatter suggests his recovery is nearing its end.

The former United States Champion has been absent from television since the October 17 episode of SmackDown. On that night, he was written off television via a backstage assault storyline where he was discovered under a production structure with his teeth scattered on the concrete floor. This angle was done to cover for the legitimate dental procedure he required.

Prior to his absence, Fatu had been given a strong push on the blue brand, capturing the United States Championship at WrestleMania before shifting to a feud with MFT’s led by Solo Sikoa.
