WWE has announced additional matches and segments for tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, live from the Moody Center in Austin, Texas. The show will feature significant in-ring action, including a non-title match for the women’s champion and the conclusion of a high-stakes tournament.
Tournament Final To Determine Cena’s Opponent
The marquee matchup for the evening is the final of the “Last Time is Now” Tournament, pitting Gunther against LA Knight. The winner of this bout will earn the right to face John Cena in his retirement match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13.
Champions In Action
WWE has bolstered the card with two women’s matches. WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill will compete in a non-title match against Alba Fyre. Additionally, Alexa Bliss is set to take on Kairi Sane of the Kabuki Warriors.
United States Champion Ilja Dragunov will also return to television after having last week off. The “Mad Dragon” is set to issue another open challenge for his championship.

The show will also address the fallout from Survivor Series: WarGames. Solo Sikoa is scheduled to appear to address the attack he suffered at the hands of Uncle Howdy and the Wyatt Sicks. Meanwhile, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will make an appearance following his team’s loss in the WarGames match this past Saturday.
