Several key members of the TNA Wrestling roster are reportedly approaching the end of their current contracts, with negotiations for extensions currently underway. A new report from Fightful Select has shed light on the status of Killer Kelly, Myron Reed, and members of The Rascalz.
Killer Kelly and Myron Reed
According to the report, Killer Kelly’s contract was scheduled to expire this December. TNA officials have reportedly already engaged in discussions with Kelly regarding an extension to keep the Knockouts division star with the promotion.
Interestingly, the report also revealed that Kelly’s fiancé, Myron Reed, is currently performing for TNA without a formal contract. Despite his free-agent status, Reed has been in talks with the company about a potential deal to solidify his roster spot.
The Rascalz Contract Status
The contract situations extend to the popular faction, The Rascalz. Fightful Select reports that the deals for Zach Wentz and Trey Miguel are both set to expire in December. The group has been a focal point of TNA’s tag team and X-Division scenes, making their retention a likely priority for the company.
Additionally, Dezmond Xavier, another member associated with the group’s history, is reportedly working without a contract. This wave of expiring deals comes at a busy time for the promotion as they look to lock down their core talent heading into the new year.
