Doctor Provides Injury Recovery Details On Penta

Penta suffered an apparent shoulder injury during his Last Time is Now tournament quarterfinal match against Solo Sikoa on the November 24 episode of Raw.

Dr. Odiseo has been posting updates on Penta’s recovery. On Saturday, he said in an Instagram video that it is ultimately up to WWE whether Penta is cleared in time for AAA Guerra de Titanes on December 20. However, he stated they have had good results in the two weeks they have been rehabbing the injury. He captioned the update with “Everything will work out” (translated).

Dr. Odiseo posted about the injury status. “He is on the right path and we have good results so far. However, we shouldn’t get overconfident and we need to keep working together,” Odiseo wrote.

When asked in the comments if Penta will be ready for the December 20 show, Odiseo responded, “hope so” (translated).

Penta is scheduled to team with his brother Rey Fenix as the Lucha Bros for the first time since signing with WWE on the December 20 show in Guadalajara. They are scheduled to wrestle the Los Gringos Locos 2.0 team of Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano on the show.
