Since making his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 38, Logan Paul has transitioned from a social media influencer into one of WWE’s most athletic and natural performers. Despite a successful career in content creation and boxing prior to wrestling, Paul admits that stepping into the squared circle made him realize he had finally found his true vocation.
In a recent video with Faze Rug, Paul reflected on his journey to WWE. He highlighted his debut match in 2022 as a turning point where he recognized his passion for the industry. “I found WWE when I was 27 years old,” Paul said. “WrestleMania debut on my 27th birthday, which is crazy. What a great birthday. But it was kinda a crazy revelation to realize that it took 27 years for me to find the thing that I was born to do. I really think I was born to wrestle. I just love it.”
A High-Profile Debut
Paul’s first official match took place on April 2, 2022, at WrestleMania 38 in Arlington, Texas. He teamed with The Miz to defeat the father-son duo of Rey and Dominik Mysterio. Paul impressed fans and critics alike with his athleticism, even executing a Frog Splash followed by a pin attempt, paying homage to Eddie Guerrero.
However, the night ended on a sour note for the influencer when The Miz turned on him immediately after the bell, delivering a Skull Crushing Finale to his partner. This betrayal set the stage for Paul’s singles run, which saw him sign a multi-event contract with the company later that year.
Championship Success And Current Storylines
Since that debut, Paul has solidified his spot on the roster. He captured the WWE United States Championship in November 2023 at Crown Jewel and held the title for 273 days before losing it to LA Knight at SummerSlam 2024. His rapid rise has included bouts against the likes of Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Cody Rhodes.
Currently, Paul is a key member of The Vision, a stable led by Paul Heyman that also includes Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Paul officially joined the group in November 2025 after interfering in a match to help Breakker and Reed. On the most recent episode of Raw, tensions flared between Paul and Rey Mysterio, with Mysterio slapping Paul after the influencer claimed he would retire the Hall of Famer.
