The former WWE Divas Champion responded to a social media comment that alleged she engages in casual sexual encounters with her fans. Garcia used the platform to categorically deny the claim and clarify the context of previous statements that may have led to the misunderstanding.
The conversation arose during a segment of the podcast where Garcia recounted a recent interaction on her Instagram page. She explained that a user left a suggestive comment on a post.
“Someone put a comment under one of my posts, my Bella Army appreciation post, and they go, ‘I wonder how many fans she banged this weekend,'” Garcia said.
Garcia detailed her immediate reaction to the comment, noting that another user had already questioned the original poster’s intent. The accuser attempted to justify their claim by referencing a past episode of The Nikki & Brie Show where Garcia had discussed her hopes for future relationships.
“He goes, ‘Well, didn’t you hear that one episode of what she hopes for?'” Garcia recalled. Garcia stated that she felt compelled to intervene and correct the narrative directly in the comments section.
She argued that the listener had misinterpreted her previous words regarding her dating preferences. “I had to chime in. I go, ‘You definitely misunderstood that episode of The Nikki & Brie Show,’ because remember? I said, we both said, I have to be in something with someone, not randoms,” Garcia explained.
Brie Garcia suggested that such misunderstandings are often a byproduct of how audiences consume and interpret content on social media, where context can be lost or projected upon. “People take things how they want to take them,” Brie observed.
Nikki agreed with the sentiment, expressing frustration at the leap in logic made by the commenter. “I was like, ‘Geez Louise,'” she said. “By the way, still haven’t”.
