Stephanie McMahon revealed a personal tragedy during a recent interview with Natalya Neidhart on the What’s Your Story? podcast. While discussing the importance of mental health and sharing difficult life experiences, McMahon disclosed that she had previously experienced a miscarriage.
McMahon opened up about the emotional toll of the loss while relating to Neidhart’s own stories of hardship. “I had a miscarriage at one point, and it’s devastating,” McMahon said.
Finding Community Through Loss
McMahon noted that the experience often feels isolating because it is not frequently discussed openly. She explained that it was only after she spoke about it that she realized how many others had gone through the same thing.
“You never really know until you tell someone that you had a miscarriage, and then you find out tons of women that you know who have had miscarriages, and it’s just like something we don’t share,” McMahon stated.
Mental Health Impact
The conversation highlighted the connection between such personal losses and mental well-being. McMahon emphasized the difficulty of navigating that grief alone and the value of finding common ground with others.
“From a mental health standpoint as well, you know, it’s very hard to go through that,” McMahon said. “When you find out that people you love relate to, look up to… realize that really, truly, we all, we all have problems, and we’re here to help one another.”
