WWE GM Nick Aldis had his meeting with Drew McIntyre’s house over the weekend. Aldis posted the meeting on X. Aldis told Drew we all want you reinstated as you’re a top star. You will get a 1 on 1 match with Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship, but you have to make a public apology to referee Dan Engler for attacking him. There is also a hefty fine, but his pay from WarGames should cover that.
Drew said he wants the WWE Title more than anything, but he’s not accepting this offer. Drew said he wants the title match, but he wants to pick the stipulation. Drew also wants Aldis to draw up a document that says Cody Rhodes can’t lay a hand on him before the title match or he will be stripped of his championship. Aldis told Drew he has a deal.
Drew looked on his phone to find that Cody was at his home. Nick and Drew came over to the front door. Nick told Cody he’s ruining this. Cody separated himself from the security holding him back and went after Drew. They fought on the front yard until security separated them.
