John Cena Announced For First Public Appearance Following Final WWE Match

John Cena has been announced for his first appearance since retiring from in-ring competition. MEGACON Orlando has revealed that Cena is set to appear at the convention this March, marking his return to the public eye following his emotional farewell at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

“From unforgettable entrances to championship moments, John Cena’s impact on WWE won’t be forgotten,” the official announcement stated. “We’re grateful for the memories, the matches, and the legacy he’s built. Experiences to meet the legend will be on sale Wednesday, December 17 at 10 AM ET.”

The convention is scheduled to take place from March 19 through March 22, 2026, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Cena joins a star-studded lineup of celebrity guests that includes Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, and John Boyega. This appearance offers fans a unique opportunity to interact with the 17-time World Champion shortly after the conclusion of his historic wrestling career.

Cena’s final match took place on December 13, 2025, where he was defeated by GUNTHER via submission. Despite the loss, Cena left the ring to a standing ovation, closing the book on one of the most decorated careers in WWE history. While he has stepped away from the ring, his schedule remains busy with Hollywood projects.
