Diamond Dallas Page says he would love to see Bron Breakker as a world champion in WWE. Breakker’s attention in WWE has recently turned to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship currently held by CM Punk, with a world title match scheduled for the new year. While speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Page was asked about the possibility of Breakker capturing the top prize.
“I would love to see that,” Page said. “I haven’t talked to him probably in about a month or two, but humble, feet on the ground, and you got to know who you are. You don’t forget that, but you want to always try to keep your feet on the ground, because that’s the guys who continue to excel.”
Page, a longtime friend of the Steiner family, offered some veteran advice to the young star. He noted the importance of maintaining a good reputation backstage, alluding to wrestlers in the past who stalled their own careers by being difficult to work with.
“You don’t want to be too much of a headache,” Page continued. “And we know part of stories about guys that I won’t mention, that I’ve been a bit of a headache to work with.”
Breakker has risen rapidly through the ranks of WWE since his debut, capturing the NXT Championship multiple times before moving to the main roster and later holding the Intercontinental Title. His current feud with CM Punk marks his most significant program to date as he vies for the World Heavyweight Championship.
