AEW Worlds End Results: MJF Wins World Heavyweight Title

AEW World Champion Samoa Joe vs. Swerve Strickland vs. “Hangman” Adam Page vs. MJF took place at the AEW Worlds End pay-per-view event from Chicago, Illinois.

Everyone started brawling to kick things off. Page with a powerslam then a spring board crossbody to the floor onto Joe. MJF began mocking Swerve, who fought back with strikes then an uppercut off the middle rope. Swerve with an outside dive to take out MJF. Joe with an outside dive of his own. Page with a moonsault off the top rope to the floor. Swerve with a stomp off the apron onto MJF. Page with the clothesline then buckshot lariat to Swerve for 2 as Joe broke up the pin attempt. Page with the angels wings to Swerve then hit a moonsault off the apron to the floor onto MJF before hitting Swerve with a powerbomb for 2. MJF with a cutter after launching Page over the top rope for 2. MJF with a destroyer off the middle rope for 2. Page with dead eye to MJF for 2. The Opps ran out to attack the challengers. Hook got on the apron and it allowed Joe to put Page in the sleeper. Swerve broke it up with the double foot stomp. Swerve with a powerbomb to Joe then Swerve was pushed off the top rope by MJF. Page with the buckshot lariat to joe twice and went for a third, but MJF kicked Page low then hit a driver to Joe for the win.
