Eric Bischoff: ‘For Me, The One Retirement Tour That I Want To See Is Randy Orton’

As 2025 comes to a close, Eric Bischoff has revealed his biggest wish for the wrestling world in the coming year. During the latest episode of 83 Weeks, the former WCW President expressed a strong desire to see WWE veteran Randy Orton receive a proper retirement tour in 2026.

A Send-Off For The Viper

When asked to name his “one Christmas wish” for the industry in 2026, Bischoff singled out Orton. He praised Orton’s incredible career and performance level, stating that the “Apex Predator” has earned a definitive and celebratory conclusion to his time in the ring.

“For me, the one retirement tour that I want to see is Randy Orton,” Bischoff said. “I think so much of Randy as a performer. He is such an unbelievable performer that I’d like to see him get the send off that he absolutely deserves.”

Respect For A Legend

Bischoff’s comments highlight the respect Orton commands within the industry. After decades of performing at a top level, Bischoff believes it is time for the fans and the company to honor Orton’s contributions with a dedicated farewell run.

Orton has been battling various injuries in recent years, but has remained a key fixture on WWE programming when active. He is currently advertised to appear at the Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia on January 31, 2026, as WWE kicks off the road to WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.
